WSPA's Approach
One of the best ways to address the mistreatment of animals is through improving human understanding of and attitudes towards them. Whilst WSPA works across the education spectrum (eg university students studying veterinary and other animal science courses) the FCAW Programme is for the 5-16 age range: school children, teachers, teacher trainers and curriculum developers.
Working with governments, teachers and some Member Societies, WSPA helps embed animal welfare into the school curriculum of several countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Using our global network of animal welfare organisations we work to extend the full range of humane education resources across the globe.
